We were invited to a small birthday party in honor of our friend Everett's 36th birthday. The location was Rutabegorz in Tustin. It's actually one of our favorite restaurants their Curry Chicken Wrap and Garlic Chicken Salad are amazing.

Ruta's is located in a historic building that was constructed in 1914 by the son of Columbus Tustin, the town's founder. It's one of the oldest buildings in town, and first served as a general store. It has since been home to many various businesses, including a classroom for local school kids during the Great Depression. It was placed on the Register of National Historic Places in 1994.

We had a great time there, and then headed back to Everett's house for presents and cake.
